Tet In Boston Festival was a tremendous success thanks to the Tet In Boston Committees, the sponsors, the volunteers, and many other individuals who were tirelessly working for the past 6 months to prepare for this event.
Thousands of people showed up to celebrate. The committee had already expected a large crowd so they rent all three floors of Flynn Cruise Port, yet the facility still didn't have enough capacity to accommodate everyone. Many event goers couldn't even get in after hours of waiting outside in the cold.
Tet in Boston Festival has become an essential cultural event for the Vietnamese American in Massachusetts for the past 40 years. It gives an opportunity for Vietnamese community to continue celebrating Tet (Vietnamese New Year) outside of Vietnam, and for the young generation to learn about this wonderful tradition.
